Diana Penty is an Indian model and film actress who appears in Hindi films. Born in Mumbai, in a Parsi-Christian family Penty completed her education from St. Xavier's College, Mumbai, and simultaneously began modeling as a part-time profession. She has been nominated for a Filmfare Award, a Screen Award, and a International Indian Film Academy Award.

After initial reluctance, Penty began a full-time modelling career in 2005 when she was signed up by Elite Models India. She soon established a successful career as a model after walking the ramp for many of India's top designers. Penty made her acting debut in 2012 with Homi Adajania's commercially successful romantic comedy Cocktail. Her performance in the film garnered praise, and earned her a nomination for Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut.

After a four year sabbatical from acting, Penty played the eponymous heroine a free-spirited reluctant bride in the romantic comedy Happy Bhag Jayegi; she garnered praise for her performance and the film went on to become a sleeper hit grossing over ₹391 million. She also played a supporting role in the 2017 prison film Lucknow Central. Penty is an active celebrity endorser and has been associated with brands like TRESemmé and Nokia.

Penty started her demonstrating when she sent her photos to Elite Models India, who enjoyed her work and proposed she take up displaying assignments. At this stage, she was in school, and was hesitant to pick on a profession in displaying, so Penty chose to work low maintenance as a form model.
